Cathy Deno has
been a member of the Women in Engineering Program staff since 1984 and is now
the Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities include assisting in the
hiring and supervision of student leadership teams, coordinating employment and
payroll processes, and handling the tracking and reporting of expenses for WIEP
programs. Cathy and her family love Purdue football and basketball and
attending Purdue convos!
Emmy Chojecki is a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering
and is from Valparaiso, IN. She is the Diversity Chair for the M&M Group
program. Along with being a part of the M&M program, Emmy is involved in
Purdue University Dance Marathon and Society of Women Engineers. She has studied
abroad in Peru and interned this past summer for General Electric in
Greenville, South Carolina. She enjoys running, hiking, exploring campus, and
playing intramural volleyball.
Katie Reis is
a senior studying Chemical Engineering from Geneva, Illinois. She coordinates the Social and Teambuilding events for the M&M Group Leadership Team. Along with this
position, Katie is a Chemical Engineering Ambassador, Vice President of OXE Chemical Engineering Honors Society, and a member of the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation. She loves to travel, and she studied abroad in Italy and Switzerland last semester!
Edith Boiquaye is
a senior studying Civil Engineering from Schererville, Indiana. She is in charge of incorporating Mentoring aspects into the program and tracking members' participation. Besides this
role, Edith is a Missional Community Leader and Treasurer for Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship. She is also currently the president of Windsor Hall. She loves Latin dancing (dancing in general, really), playing with children and listening to any and every genre of music!
Nicole Hoeing is a junior studying Chemical Engineering from Glenwood, IN. She is in charge of the technology role on the leadership team. She is also a member Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship and an Indiana Society member of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR). She loves cooking and baking yummy food (and desserts!), listening to classical piano music, practicing her French and getting lost in really good books!
Yuxin Zhou is a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering from Qindao, China. She is the Small Groups Coordinator for the program. In addition to this role, she is a member of the Chinese Engineering Student Council and the 3D printing club. She interned this past summer at Caterpillar R&D Center in China. She enjoys traveling, baking, and making jewelry.
