CeCe Berger Sharp, Kimberly-Clark

You won't want to miss out on the first Access Alum of 2015! CeCe Berger Sharp (BSCHE Purdue) will soon be back on campus.

Cece is originally from Newburgh, Indiana and graduated with honors from Purdue University with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering in 1998. While at Purdue she was an active member of Delta Gamma Sorority, Mortar Board Honor Society, and (her favorite) was also part of the Women in Engineering Mentor/Mentee Program staff! She enjoyed all kinds of activities on campus and tried to have a good balance between school work, extracurricular activities, and play!

After graduation, she took at job with Kimberly-Clark in Neenah, Wisconsin where she worked in product development on HUGGIES® diapers. From there she transferred to Barton-upon-Humber, U.K. to work on the European HUGGIES® line. Upon her return to the U.S., she took a job in Kimberly-Clark’s Business to Business groups in Roswell, Georgia. She worked in various product development positions for the Kimberly-Clark Professional brand and also Kimberly-Clark’s external partner business. One of her favorite jobs was working on “totally new product developments”.

In 2006, Cece and her husband, Matt, embarked on an adventure of a lifetime when they both quit their jobs and took a six month trip around the world. They visited 4 continents and over 20 countries on their tour, and loved every minute of it (even the tough times).

They returned to the Atlanta area after their trip, and Cece, again took a job with Kimberly-Clark. This time working in the newly created Creative Innovation Team which was in charge of helping the various business units generate new product, marketing, and team-building ideas. Her main job was to plan, create, and run innovation sessions that led to new total product solutions for the corporation.

Cece switched careers again in January 2008 when she moved into a global marketing role with Kimberly-Clark. She led the global marketing capability efforts to give the Kimberly-Clark Professional division marketers the appropriate skills and knowledge to more effectively do their jobs. Cece was in charge of embedding new processes globally and conducting training classes. During 2010, Cece was instrumental in launching the first Global Marketing University for 220 global marketers in 4 locations across the globe.

At the beginning of 2011, Cece became the Director of Sales and Marketing Capability for the Kimberly-Clark Professional sector. She leads team that is in charge of training the North American sales force and marketing teams.

In her spare time, she now enjoys spending time with her husband and three spunky daughters, Leah, Carly, and Lucy.
