Meet the 2014-2015 team!

WIEP Leadership Team

Jennifer Groh has been the Associate Director for the Women in Engineering Program since 2006. Her responsibilities include pre-college outreach, undergraduate and graduate mentoring programs, WIEP courses: 194 and 494 (in development), securing program funding, and program research...and she loves them all! Jennifer has her BS in Biology from Purdue University and her PhD in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.

Cathy Deno has been a member of the Women in Engineering Program staff since 1984 and is now the Administrative Assistant. Her responsibilities include assisting in the hiring and supervision of student leadership teams, coordinating employment and payroll processes, and handling the tracking and reporting of expenses for WIEP programs. Cathy and her family love Purdue football and basketball and attending Purdue convos!

Jennie Boehm is a junior studying Mechanical Engineering from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is the Small Group Coordinator for the M&M Group Leadership Team. Jennie is also the Vice PResident of Pledges for Pi Tau Sigma, the ME Honor Society on campus. Her favorite Purdue traditions include fountain runs, Den Pops, and drinking from the lion's fountain before an exam! 

Morgan Thome is a senior studying Industrial Engineering from Harvard, Illinois. She is the Teambuilding and Socials Chair for the M&M Group Leadership Team. In addition to this role, Morgan is a member of both the PUDM Morale Committee and Alpha Gamma Delta sorority and a BoilerSTeam Tour Guide. She loves cheering at Big Ten sporting events and running through the campus fountains.

Melissa Ullmer is a junior studying Biomedical Engineering from Kokomo, Indiana. She is the Multicultural Chair for the M&M Group Leadership Team. Besides this position, Missy is a Boiler Gold Rush Team Supervisor and a member of the WIEP Innovation to Reality Leadership Team. Den Pops and fountain runs are her favorite Purdue traditions, but she also loves trying new coffee shops and restaurants in Lafayette area and taking GroupX classes at the Co-Rec!

Katie Reis is a sophomore studying Chemical Engineering from Geneva, Illinois. She is the Social Media Chair for the M&M Group Leadership Team. Along with this position, Katie is an engineering ambassador and tour guide for the Purdue Student Engineering Foundation and the National Engineers Week Chair for the Purdue Society of Women Engineers. She loves attending Purdue sporting events and showing pride for the Boilermakers, especially as a former member of the Purdue Golduster Dance Team!

Edith Boiquaye is a sophomore studying Civil Engineering from Schererville, Indiana. She is the Points and Shopping Chair for the M&M Group Leadership Team. Besides this role, Edith is the Missional Community Leader for Chi Alpha and a leader for the Multinational Integration Xchange. She loves walking by the campus Bell Tower in the fall and watching intramural sports, especially soccer!
