Our speaker for the March meeting will be Anne Bigane Wilson (BS in CEM). She is currently the president of both Bigane Paving Co., a fourth-generation family firm specializing in asphalt paving, and Ogden Avenue Materials, Inc., an asphalt manufacturing plant, both serving Chicagoland. Wilson served as 2002-03 president of the American Subcontractors Association and is a member of the Construction Engineering & Management Advisory Committee at Purdue University. Wilson was awarded the Civil Engineering Alumni Achievement Award in 2008. In 2003, Wilson was awarded the Walter Nashert Lifetime Achievement Award by the American Institute of Constructors for her work in promoting professionalism and ethics in the construction industry. Bigane Paving earned ASA’s National Construction Best Practices Award for the last three years. She was elected to the National Academy of Construction in 2014.
